Rubber Expansion Joints
Introduction
The ESBI Expansion Joints are indispensable in protecting piping and equipment systems from vibration, noise, thermal expansion, stress and movements.
ESBI Rubber Expansion Joints are available in different designs and shapes, fabric structure, rubber quality matched to the specific applications.
Single Arch Expansion joints with control rod assembly
The ESBI Expansion Joints with Control Rod Assembly play a vital role in withstanding movements originating from dynamic equipment during operation. They are recommended where piping systems are unanchored/unsupported.
Control rod assemblies are recommended on spring mounted pumps and equipment.
Where the normal operating pressure is exceeded Control rod assembly must be used.
Nominal Bore Sizes: from 25 mm ( 1" ) to 1800 mm ( 72" ).
Supplied with galvanised steel split flanges.
Flange Drilling meets 125/150 standards of ANSI B16.1, B16.5. Other drilling specifications on special order.
Multiple Arch type expansion joints
Rubber Expansion Joints with two or more arches are manufactured to accommodate greater movements than those of single type joints.
Floating flange Spherical type
Made from special weave fabric for reinforcement, the spherical shape offers a high burst pressure and requires low forces to flex. Galvanised steel solid flanges are inserted on either side of the joint. Available upto NB 300 ( 12"NB ) size.
