Varoflex Coupling and Spares
Varoflex Coupling equivalent and interchangeable with RATO-S Coupling, was developed by ESBI with direct support from TATA, a renowned group of industries, in India and around the world. Such RATO-S coupling manufactured by Vulkan Kupplungs, Germany was IMPORTED and fitted with WARTSILA Diesel Engine Model 18V46. We are obliged to TATA for providing the scope and support encouraging ESBI's R&D to achieve an import substitution. Tata's stringent quality checking parameters and rigorous testing in the practical applications was great encouragement and impetus to ESBI's technical team which achieved the success story.
Since the RATO-S Coupling and spares are not covered under any Indian Patent laws, we are continuously developing and manufacturing the same with our own Research and Development and our registered Brand name is "VAROFLEX". ESBI's Varoflex is developed with 100% indigenous resources, technologies under ESBI'S own "R&D" and spontaneous customers support.
VAROFLEX SPARE (RUBBER SEGMENTS)
First prototype replacement of such RATO-S Coupling Spare Size V- 582 were developed and supplied to TATA during the year 2009. Since then, TATA being a satisfied customer, ESBI enjoyed regular support and repeat orders for replacing all such imported RATO-S Couplings with ESBI VAROFLEX spares.
ESBI also successfully replaced RATO-S Coupling spares with indigenously manufactured VAROFLEX spares, installed in Marine Main Propulsion applications.
Another success story that replaces thousands of KTR Brand FLE-PA Couplings :- ESBI's Hytrex Couplings, 100% indigenously developed, replacing KTR, FLE-PA Couplings, imported in India. Customers like Larsen & Toubro, Telcon, Greaves etc. were of great support to develop such import substitution with their orders replacing KTR FLE-PA Coupling spares, in India.
The Disc being the only replaceable material, ESBI has used Hytrex Polymer with higher physical strength and temperature durability. Flange dimensions are according to SAE-J620 to replace existing installation of KTR, as desired by various customers from time to time.
Though ESBI's "Hytrex" Coupling resembles the look and technical parameters of KTR- FLE-PA coupling, PLEASE NOTE we have NO association or technical collaboration with KTR/Germany. Our development was based on customer's application demand with stringent quality control parameters. Please note such KTR-FLE-PA couplings are not under any Indian Patent laws and our research and development have successfully developed and replaced with our own Registered Trade Mark "HYTREX".
